Best and Adjusted images
Step by step
For all of these edits, the same steps were used. To start with I decided to smooth the models skin:
- Duplicate the background image
- 'Layer' -> 'Vector mask' -> 'Hide all'
- I then selected 'Filter' -> 'Blur' -> 'Surface blur' which allowed me to choose how much i wanted to blur the skin to make it "flawless"
- I then selected the 'paintbrush tool' and selected the colour White and painted over the skin so that the blur would show through
Then after these steps I decided to brighten up the eyes I did this by taking these steps:
- I selected the 'quick selection tool' which selected around the eyes and eye shadow quickly and roughly
- Then I selected the 'levels' option so that i could change how bright and dark the tones were
Review
Personally, I think this shoot turned out quite alright. However, I think i could of done it better by putting something behind the back drop so the sunlight wouldn't shine through. Because of this happening, I had to edit this in Photoshop which then the hair had to be darkened to look right with the image, but then the images were turning out a little too dark. But, I will take this into consideration for my next shoot.
